Datsuk Kirill Vladimirovich - Painter's Biography
Russian artist Datsuk Kirill Vladimirovich was born in 1974 in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. He graduated from the Academy of Arts, a workshop of easel painting under the guidance of V.V. Sokolov. His teachers were Kirillova L.N., Belov A.V., Govorkov I.V., Mogilevtsev V.A., Rudnev V.F. and, of course, Kirill's father, the famous St. Petersburg graphic artist Datsuk V.K. In 2001, Kirill graduated from the Institute of Painting, Architecture and Sculpture. I.E. Repin and already in 2003 became a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. The diploma work "The Dispossessed", dedicated to the problem of poverty and human hopelessness, caused a strong resonance among the audience and the State Art Council. In 2003, this work represented St. Petersburg at the All-Russian Exhibition of the Best Diploma Works.
