Paintings on the canvas of Alexander Boyadzhan

Boyadjan Aleksandr Borisovich Born in 1958 on 31 of July. Soviet and Russian artist. Since 1988 a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Since 1995 a member of the St. Petersburg Creative Union of Artists. He graduated the department of theater and decoration at the Tbilisi Art College. In 1970-1980 he worked as a decorator at the Tbilisi Theater of Musical Comedy and the Sukhumi Youth Theater at the “Georgia Film Studio”. Since 1990, he has been permanently living in St. Petersburg. The unique brightness of the sunny south, the richness of the surrounding nature and the sea sparkling under the sun formed a special artistic perception in it, where it is impossible to distinguish reality from fantasy. St. Petersburg has become for the artist a place of his creative formation. The artist's painting acquired a special analyticity and validity of the pictorial idea, but remained southern bright and diversity. Alexander's paintings are filled with picturesque improvisations and a special look at the world, characterized by absolute simplicity. The main thing in the artist's work is color. Combining colors with each other in an excellent way, the artist manages to achieve the novelty of coloristic sound. The works of Alexander Boyadzhan were exhibited at the State Russian Museum, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege," etc. Often Alexander's works are presented at exhibitions in other cities of Russia, as well as in the USA, Great Britain, Germany.
