Armen Gasparyan found his artistic language combining the traditions of classical art and the search for fresh flexible form. On his canvases, ancient myths shimmer magnificently and formidably on modern images and fates. The heroes of his paintings are harlequins, women, men, jesters, kings and philosophers. In his works, he depicts women as gentle, and men as thoughtful. His paintings are complex and interesting, multifaceted and capacious, permeated with deep philosophical thought.
